Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell were the Charmed Ones; the most powerful good witches of all time.  But in one fatefull day the Charmed circle had been destroyed.  The eldest sibling, Prue, was killed by the Source of all evil's demonic hitman Shax. Overnight, the power of three had become two average witches. In missbelief, Piper tries to summon Prue but in her place Grams appears to tell Piper her and Phoebe's destiny still awaits. When Phoebe tries to save an innocent from Shax, Cole brings news that the Source of all evil knows their innocent can reconstitute the Charmed Ones.  Piper once again summons her grandmother and her mother to find out why the source wants their innocent dead. It is revealed that ther sister's mother and her whiteliter concieved a child, Paige, but since it was forbiden, they had to give her up for addoption. When Paige appears at the manor, they welcome her, and just in time too. Shax threatens to destroy the Charmed Ones again. As the three siblings vanquish Shax, Paige is transformed into a Charmed One. Now that a new power of three is born, the girls will not stop untill they vanquish the Source once and for good.........for Prue. 

Within months, the Charmed Ones have fullfilled their objective, vanquishing the Source, but all is still not well. The Source's power has filled the void where Cole's demonic self used to exist. After weeks of hiding his true self, the Halliwells discover that Cole is the new Source and must vanquish him.  Although Phoebe has lost her sole mate to evil once again, this isn't time to mourn but to rejoice; It is later revealed that Piper is PREGNANT!
